FAQs
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy may be right for you if success on the outside doesn't match how things feel on the inside. If stress, emotional distance, or repeated relationship patterns are affecting your marriage, leadership, or sense of fulfillment, therapy offers a structured space to understand what's driving those patterns—and build the emotional capacity for stronger connection and sustainable success.
How long does therapy take?
This varies for everyone. Some people achieve their goals in a few months, while others benefit from longer-term work. We'll regularly check in on your progress and adjust as needed. You're in control of your journey, and we'll work at a pace that feels right for you.
How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly sessions, which provides consistency and momentum. As you progress, we may adjust to bi-weekly or monthly sessions. We'll figure out what schedule supports your goals and fits your life.
Payment Methods
Credit/Debit, Cash, HSA/FSA
Do you accept Insurance? — I do not accept insurance. However, if your insurance includes out-of-network benefits (PPO, POS, and HDHP plans), I can provide you with a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. The amount reimbursed varies and you will need to discuss this with your insurance company.
What's your cancellation policy?
Appointments must be cancelled 24 hours in advance excluding holidays and weekends.
Do you offer in-person or online sessions?
I offer both. You can meet with me in person at my San Diego office or connect via secure tele-health sessions. Telehealth provides flexibility and convenience while maintaining the same quality of care. We'll discuss which option works best for your needs and schedule.
What if I don't think we're a good fit?
Fit matters in therapy. If after our first session or two you feel we're not the right match, I'll gladly provide referrals to other therapists who may be a better fit. Your growth and comfort are what matter most.
